Then we moved to the reception desk, where the receptionist told us that room 8034 is not available. When the payment should have been made, the machine couldn't communicate with the credit card machine which said 'Waiting for the amount'. There was again mentioned that we have a standard double room. On arrival at the hotel at 14:30, we tried to do the self check-in. There was only one left #8034 with Globen views. At this point, the app showed that we really have a deluxe room. 1/8 of the rooms have Globen views, 1/8 have street views and 3/4 have views of the nearby opposite wing. This hotel consists of four wings that are located next to each other. What a brilliant system that however works rarely because the system doesn't know if people are having late checkouts etc. Two days before our arrival, I noticed from the app that I can choose the exact room number, without an extra charge as being Platinum. After that, it was changed to a standard double room in the app. I immediately emailed the hotel and was told that it is actually a deluxe room. The next day, I opened the Nordic Choice app on my phone and noticed that I have been downgraded to a standard twin room.
